Yo sabbattha sammappāṇi, sabbattha sammavādī ca; Sabbattha sammakammanto, sabbattha samamānaso.
Yo sabbattha sammappāṇi, sabbattha sammavādī ca; sabbattha sammakammanto, sabbattha samamānaso.
Whoever everywhere has right breath, everywhere speaks rightly, everywhere acts rightly, everywhere has balanced mind.
Sammā — right, correct. It appears in three actions: speech (vācā), action (kammanta), mind (ānaso). Right breath (sammappāṇi) is the foundation.
There is no right action without right mind; no right mind without right breath.
