In every place is a good person, but not in every place is a wise one; one is called Brahman, well established in virtue.
The Brāhmaṇavagga — chapter of the Brahmin — is the last chapter of the Dhammapada. It does not refer to the brahmin caste, but to one who has attained spiritual perfection.
Sīlesu susamāhito — well established in virtue. Sīla is the foundation: without ethics, no wisdom can sustain itself.
