Saptamopadeśaḥ (Samādhi) · Verse 9

रसानन्दं ततः प्रोक्तं योगिनां सिद्धिदायकम् | तत्प्रकारं प्रवक्ष्यामि शृणु त्वं कमलानने ||

rasānandaṃ tataḥ proktaṃ yogināṃ siddhidāyakam | tatprakāraṃ pravakṣyāmi śṛṇu tvaṃ kamalānane ||

The third samādhi: Rasānanda — essential joy, joy of the nectar. It is union through the divine taste that flows from the crown.

The amṛta — nectar of immortality — drips from the sahasrāra when it is active. In Rasānanda, the yogi is submerged in this joy.

“Giver of perfection” — transcendental joy is so powerful that it draws all consciousness toward its source.
