Saptamopadeśaḥ (Samādhi) · Verse 10

खेचरीमुद्रया योगी अमृतं पीयते सदा | रसे लीनं मनः कृत्वा योगी योगपरायणः ||

khecarīmudrayā yogī amṛtaṃ pīyate sadā | rase līnaṃ manaḥ kṛtvā yogī yogaparāyaṇaḥ ||

Technique of Rasānanda: Khecarī mudrā (tongue at the palate) allows capturing and tasting the amṛta descending from the sahasrāra.

The nectar has a sweet taste, sometimes described as honey, ambrosia, or indescribable sweetness. It is physically perceptible for those who have awakened the higher center.

“Mind absorbed in the taste” — the joy is so intense that all consciousness merges with it. It is the joy that satisfies all desire.
