Karma-Sannyāsa Yoga · Verse 5

यत्सांख्यैः प्राप्यते स्थानं तद्योगैरपि गम्यते | एकं सांख्यं च योगं च यः पश्यति सः पश्यति

yat sāṅkhyaiḥ prāpyate sthānaṃ tad yogair api gamyate | ekaṃ sāṅkhyaṃ ca yogaṃ ca yaḥ paśyati saḥ paśyati

The goal that the sāṅkhya attain, that same is reached by the yogīs. Whoever sees that sāṅkhya and yoga are one, he sees.

Identity of destination. Sāṅkhyaiḥ — by the followers of sāṅkhya (knowledge) — attain sthānam — place, goal.

Yogaiḥ — by the yogīs (practice) — api gamyate — also is reached. Ekaṃ — one — indicates essential identity. Yaḥ paśyati — whoever sees — saḥ paśyati — he truly sees. The division is pedagogical; reality is one. To see this unity is correct vision.
