Akṣara-Parabrahman Yoga · Verse 28
वेदेषु यज्ञेषु तपःसु चैव दानेषु यत्पुण्यफलं प्रदिष्टम् | अत्येति तत्सर्वमिदं विदित्वा योगी परं स्थानमुपैति दिव्यम्
vedeṣu yajñeṣu tapaḥsu caiva dāneṣu yat puṇya-phalaṃ pradiṣṭam | atyeti tat sarvam idaṃ viditvā yogī paraṃ sthānam upaiti divyam
The yogi who knows all this surpasses the meritorious fruits of Vedic studies, sacrifices, austerities and charities, and reaches the supreme primeval abode.
Yoga transcends puṇya (merit): studies of veda, yajña, tapas (austerities), dāna (charity/giving). Their phala (fruits) are good but conditioned.
Atyeti tat sarvam — transcends/surpasses all that. Viditvā — knowing this (the paths, the science of time). Upaiti param sthānam divyam — reaches the supreme and primeval abode. The chapter culminates showing that the yoga of love/devotion surpasses all ritual religiosity.
