Saptamopadeśaḥ (Samādhi) · Verse 11

रसे लीनं मनः कृत्वा योगी योगपरायणः | समाधिं लभते योगी ब्रह्मण्येव प्रजायते ||

rase līnaṃ manaḥ kṛtvā yogī yogaparāyaṇaḥ | samādhiṃ labhate yogī brahmaṇy eva prajāyate ||

Result of Rasānanda: samādhi and orientation toward Brahman. The joy of the nectar leads to transcendence of joy.

Curiously, joy itself, taken to its extreme, reveals its empty nature. The yogi discovers that joy and the enjoyer are one.

This is the path of devotees of sacred pleasure. Amṛta leads them beyond pleasure and pain, to the peace that transcends both.
