pranayama

Bee breath prāṇāyāma, so named for the prolonged humming sound produced during exhalation. The Haṭha Pradīpikā (2.68) describes how this sound induces deep calm in the mind, facilitates sleep, and dispels agitation. The internal vibration stimulates the [[ajna]] chakra and prepares the mind for deeper meditative states.
