Viśvarūpa-Darśana Yoga · Verse 14
ततः स विस्मयाविष्टो हृष्टरोमा धनञ्जयः | प्रणम्य शिरसा देवं कृताञ्जलिरभाषत
tataḥ sa vismaya-āviṣṭo hṛṣṭa-romā dhanañjayaḥ | praṇamya śirasā devaṃ kṛtāñjalir abhāṣata
Then he, Dhanañjaya, filled with wonder, with hair standing on end, offering reverences with his head to the god, with hands joined, spoke.
Tataḥ — then — after the vision. Vismaya-āviṣṭaḥ — filled with wonder — transcendental ānanda. Hṛṣṭa-romā — with hair standing on end — romāñca, sign of spiritual ecstasy.
Praṇamya śirasā — bowing his head — total reverence. Devam — to the god — the viśvarūpa. Kṛtāñjaliḥ — with joined hands — posture of supplication.
Abhāṣata — he spoke — Arjuna is about to express his vision.
