svabhāva-jena kaunteya nibaddhaḥ svena karmaṇā | kartuṃ necchasi yan mohāt kariṣyasy avaśo 'pi tat
By what is born of your own nature, oh Kuntīya, bound by your own action, that which you do not wish to do through ignorance, you will do even without power, compelled.
Nibaddhaḥ svabhāva-jena karmaṇā — bound by action born of your own nature. The guṇas operate through us.
Yat kartum na icchasi — what you do not wish to do. Mohāt — through ignorance, delusion. Kariṣyasi avaśaḥ api tat — you will do it, even without power/freedom, compelled. Action happens; the choice is the conscious attitude.
