Karman

Action and its consequence; the law of cause and effect. Every action leaves impressions (saṃskāra) that condition future experiences. The Yogasūtras detail how karma is stored in the kleśa of abhiniveśa. Liberation requires acting without attachment to the fruit. See karma.
