Mokṣa-Sannyāsa Yoga · Verse 12

अनिष्टमिष्टं मिश्रं च त्रिविधं कर्मणः फलम् | भवत्यत्यागिनां प्रेत्य न तु संन्यासिनां क्वचित्

aniṣṭam iṣṭaṃ miśraṃ ca tri-vidhaṃ karmaṇaḥ phalam | bhavaty atyāgināṃ pretya na tu saṃnyāsināṃ kvacit

Disagreeable, agreeable, and mixed — triple is the fruit of action for the non-renouncers after death, but not for the saṃnyāsins, in any case.

Consequences of karma: aniṣṭam (disagreeable — apunya), iṣṭam (desirable — puṇya), miśram (mixed). Bound karma generates results that must be enjoyed/suffered.

But na tu saṃnyāsinām — not for the saṃnyāsins (total renouncers, also karma-phala-tyāgī). For them, atyāginām (for those who have not completely renounced), pretya (after death) there are consequences; for the true tyāgī, none.
