Jñāna Yoga · Verse 11
ये यथा मां प्रपद्यन्ते तांस्तथैव भजाम्यहम् | मम वर्त्मानुवर्तन्ते मनुष्याः पार्थ सर्वशः
ye yathā māṃ prapadyante tāṃs tathaiva bhajāmy aham | mama vartmānuvartante manuṣyāḥ pārtha sarvaśaḥ
In whatever way they take refuge in me, in that way I correspond to them. All men follow my path in all respects, oh son of Pṛthā.
Universality and divine reciprocity. Ye yathā — in whatever way — accepts multiple approaches.
Prapadyante — take refuge, surrender — activates the response: tathāiva bhajāmi — thus I honor/correspond to them. Divinity adapts to the devotee. Mama vartmānuvartante — follow my path — indicates that all, even those who do not know, advance toward the ultimate source.
