The goal, the sustainer, the lord, the witness, the dwelling, the refuge, the dear friend; the origin, the dissolution, the foundation, the treasure and the imperishable seed.

Eleven attributes of the Lord describing every possible relationship with beings. Gatiḥ — goal, destination, movement toward. Bhartā — who sustains, maintains. Prabhuḥ — absolute owner.

Sākṣī — witness, indicating that He sees without interfering. Nivāsaḥ — dwelling, habitation — and śaraṇam — refuge — speak of protection. Suhṛt — friend who acts for your good without expecting reciprocation.

Prabhavaḥ pralayaḥ — creation and destruction — with sthānam (foundation), nidhānam (treasure) and bījam avyayam (indestructible seed) complete the image of the Lord as everything in all times.
