Passeyyaÿca passaṭṭhānaṃ, kañci passati attano;passeseyyaṃ passaṭṭhānaṃ, passeseyyaṃ parassa ca.

Passeyyaṃ passaṭṭhānaṃ, kañci passati attano; passeyyaṃ passeyyaṁhaṃ, passeyyaṃ parassa ca.

Let one see arising, let one see ceasing; let one see arising in oneself, let one see ceasing in oneself and in others.

Practice is not egocentric. Attano — in oneself; parassa — in others. What is seen in oneself is seen in all.

Passaṭṭhāna — the place of seeing, the point of observation. Seeing arising (samudaya) and ceasing (nirodha) is the vision that liberates.
