Eighty-fifth dhāraṇā. Looking at a wall. Kuḍye — a wall. Bhairava includes among meditation objects something as mundane as a blank wall. No decoration, no image, no text. Just surface.

Idṛśena krameṇa — in this gradual manner. It is not a leap. It is a process. First you look at the wall. Then the gaze softens. Borders blur. The surface loses depth or gains infinite depth. The mind, without stimulus, begins to release.

Svayaṃ līnā varapradā — it dissolves by itself and bestows blessings. The contemplation self-dissolves. You need not end the meditation. It ends with you. It takes the mind with it as it dissolves. What remains is varapradā — what grants the supreme gift. The gift of presence without mediator.
