Mukti

Liberation, emancipation. Synonymous with moksha, mukti designates liberation from the cycle of birth and death (saṃsāra). In the Upaniṣads, mukti is attained through knowledge of the identity of ātman and Brahman; in the haṭha texts, through purification of the body and the awakening of kuṇḍalinī.
