मुक्त
Mukta
samadhiLiberated, released, free — one who has attained final emancipation (moksha). The term describes both the state of freedom and the one who abides in it.
In samadhi, mukta signifies complete release from the bonds of karma, [[desire]], and [[ignorance]]. The [[Upanishads]] declare: brahma vid brahmaiva bhavati — “the knower of Brahman becomes Brahman.” This is mukti in essence.
The [[Bhagavad Gītā]] speaks of the sthita-prajña — the one of steady wisdom who is mukta even while living. Not an escape from the world but freedom within it.
