Mokṣa-Sannyāsa Yoga · Verse 71
श्रद्धावाननसूयश्च शृणुयादपि यो नरः | सोऽपि मुक्तः शुभाँल्लोकान्प्राप्नुयात्पुण्यकर्मणाम्
śraddhāvān anasūyaś ca śṛṇuyād api yo naraḥ | so 'pi muktaḥ śubhāl lokān prāpnuyāt puṇya-karmaṇām
A man who hears with faith, not envying, he also, liberated, shall reach the auspicious worlds of those who do pious works.
Reward for hearing. Śraddhāvān — endowed with faith. Anasūyaḥ — not envying, without rancor. Śṛṇuyāt — may hear.
Result: Muktaḥ — liberated (from negative consequences). Śubhān lokān — auspicious worlds. Puṇya-karmaṇām — of those who act piously.
It suffices to hear with correct attitude to benefit.
