Chapter 15 · Verse 10

देहस्तिष्ठतु कल्पान्तं गच्छत्वद्यैव वा पुनः

dehastiṣṭhatu kalpāntaṃ gacchatvadyaiva vā punaḥ | kva vṛddhiḥ kva ca vā hānista

Whether the body endures for a kalpa (an aeon) or perishes today, what is gain or loss for you? The question is not rhetorical but logical: if you are not the body, the body’s duration is irrelevant to your true nature. This radical disidentification extends to the most basic concern — survival itself.
