Although these, of mind corrupted by greed, do not see the fault that causes the destruction of the family, nor the sin in betraying friends

Arjuna concedes something to his opponents: yady api (although) they do not see. But his diagnosis is severe: lobha-upahata-cetasaḥ (those whose consciousness is struck/consumed by greed). Upahata is violent — not mere desire but passionate corruption.

The two errors they do not see: kula-kṣaya-kṛtam doṣam (the fault that causes destruction of family/clan) and mitra-drohe pātakam (the sin in betrayal of friends). The war is both: destruction of the Kuru family and betrayal of ancient bonds.

The ca (and) unites both transgressions, forming an accumulation of guilt that Arjuna attributes to the enemy but which he himself wishes to avoid.
