Vibhūti Yoga · Verse 30
प्रह्लादश्चास्मि दैत्यानां कालः कलयतामहम् | मृगाणां च मृगेन्द्रोऽहं वैनतेयश्च पक्षिणाम्
prahlādaś cāsmi daityānāṃ kālaḥ kalayatām aham | mṛgāṇāṃ ca mṛgendro 'haṃ vainateyaś ca pakṣiṇām
I am Prahlāda among the demons; time among the calculators; the lion among beasts, and Garuḍa among birds.
Daityānām — of the demons (sons of Diti) — prahlādaḥ — the great devotee, who saw Nārāyaṇa everywhere. Kalayatām — of those who calculate/measure — kālaḥ — time.
Mṛgāṇām — of animals — mṛgendraḥ — the lion, king of the jungle. Pakṣiṇām — of birds — vainateyaḥ — Garuḍa, son of Vinatā, vehicle of Viṣṇu.
Even among demons there is a devotee who is vibhūti of the Lord.
