As the great wind, always present in space, travels everywhere, so you should understand that all beings rest in Me.

A powerful analogy to understand the relationship between God and creation. The wind (vāyu) resides in space (ākāśa) and moves freely without separating from it; so all beings rest in the Lord.

Nityam — always, eternally. It is not that the Lord becomes temporarily present. Sarvatra-gaḥ — that which goes everywhere — describes both the wind and the Lord in His omnipresent expansion.

The instruction upadhāray — comprehend, understand deeply — invites meditation upon this analogy until it becomes direct experience.
