Uyyuttā kāmesu visesato, taṇhakkhayaṁ yo visujjhati; Sabbakāmesu yogamānajino, taṇhakkhayamhi sikhīti vuccati.

Effort in pleasures without distinction, one in whom thirst is exhausted is purified; victor over bonds in all pleasures, in extinction of thirst one is called “the crested one.”

Sikhī — the crested one. The peacock with crest symbolizes the practitioner who has attained spiritual distinction. The crest is the visible mark of inner achievement.

In yoga, this “mark” is not external — it is the visible transformation in conduct, equanimity, presence.
