स्वशक्त्यभावतोऽप्येष वज्रोली स्त्रीषु सिद्ध्यति | स्वशक्त्युद्बोधनं चापि वज्रोल्येव हि सिद्ध्यति

sva-śakty-abhāvato 'py eṣa vajrolī strīṣu siddhyati | sva-śakty-udbōdhanaṃ cāpi vajrolyeva hi siddhyati

Even without śakti itself, this Vajrolī is perfected in women.And the awakening of one’s śakti is also perfected through Vajrolī.

This verse has multiple interpretations depending on the meaning of sva-śakti (śakti itself).A reading: Even without a companion (śakti as a consort), a woman can perfect Vajrolī/Sahajolī through individual practice.The practice does not necessarily require maithuna with a partner.

Another reading: sva-śakti as kuṇḍalinī.Even before the awakening of kuṇḍalinī (sva-śakty-abhāvataḥ), women can develop Vajrolī, and this development will eventually facilitate the awakening of kuṇḍalinī (sva-śakty-udbodhanam).

Strīṣu siddhyati — is perfected in women — recognizes that women can be primary practitioners, not just companions of male practitioners.This assertion of equality of yogic capacity is notable in a historical context where women were often excluded from advanced practices.

The practical message is clear: Vajrolī and its variants are accessible to practitioners of both sexes, with or without a partner, and lead to the awakening of spiritual energy.
