Prakāśa

Light, illumination, the luminosity of consciousness. In the Vijñāna Bhairava, prakāśa is the very nature of consciousness that recognizes itself without mediation. It is not physical light but the inherent self-perception present in every cognitive state. See [[cit]] and chit.
