Bhikkhuvagga · The Monk · Gāthā 362

Dvi-hā bhikkhuno sammattaṃ, nātidhammaṃ pasaṃsanti; Sālena ca anāvilaṃ, suññaṃ rūpena passati.

Dvihā bhikkhuno sammattaṃ, nātidhammaṃ pasaṃsanti; sālena ca anāvilaṃ, suññaṃ rūpena passati.

The monk of right vision, who praises not beyond the Dhamma; with clear and unturbid vision, sees emptiness in form.

Suññaṃ rūpena — empty in form. Not that form does not exist, but it has no inherent being. Suññatā is the understanding that everything is empty of own-nature.

Nātidhammaṃ — not beyond the Dhamma. The monk does not seek parallel paths, does not add unnecessary practices. The Dhamma is sufficient in itself.
