Śivasaṃhitā 5.248

«Obtains everything desired» (sarvam abhīpsitam labhate) does not mean the yogi gets all their ego-whims but something deeper: when individual consciousness has dissolved into universal consciousness, its residual desires necessarily align with the cosmos’s order. The mahāyogī desires what the universe desires for itself—and that is always fulfilled.

Labhate = obtains, receives (labh = to receive as gift, obtain), na sandeha = without doubt (sandeha = doubt, literally «what must be weighed», from sam-deh = to weigh well), dhīmān = the wise one, sarva = all, abhīpsita = deeply desired (abhi-ipsa = intense and deep desire, more than simple kāma).

The realization of all desires as the fruit of parama-pada is in apparent contradiction with the doctrine of self-dissolution that precedes. The resolution is Vedantic: in liberation, it is not «I obtain everything» but that there is no separation between the one who desires and the reality that could satisfy them. Desire and its fulfillment are identical because the one who desires and the desired are One single consciousness.
