Bhāva Dhāraṇā · Dhāraṇā 64
सर्वसंकोचभयात्सर्वमुत्सृज्य भयमादिशेत् । तत्स्वरूपं तु भैरव्या भैरवी भवनं भवेत् ॥
sarvasaṃkocabhayāt sarvam utsṛjya bhayam ādiśet | tatsvarūpaṃ tu bhairavyā bhairavī bhavanaṃ bhavet ||
Abandoning everything due to the fear that contracts everything — point to that fear itself. Its true nature, through Bhairavī, becomes the dwelling of Bhairavī.
Sixty-fourth technique. Fear as doorway. Sarvasaṃkocabhayāt — through the fear that contracts everything. Fear is pure contraction — of body, of mind, of consciousness itself. Everything shrinks. Everything flees toward a tiny center.
Bhairava does not say eliminate fear. He says ādiśet — point to it. Point toward it. Look at it directly. Not at the object of fear but at fear itself. What is that contraction? Where is it? Who feels it?
Tatsvarūpaṃ tu bhairavyā bhairavī bhavanaṃ bhavet — the true nature of that fear, seen through Bhairavī, becomes the very dwelling of the divine. Maximum contraction reveals maximum expansion. Fear faced directly dissolves into its opposite.
