Bhāva Dhāraṇā · Dhāraṇā 63

प्रीतिप्रमोदमहतो विचिकित्सोत्थितस्य वा । ब्रह्मसत्त्वस्थिरीकृत्य मनसा तत्त्वमाप्यते ॥

prīti-pramoda-mahato vicikitsotthitasya vā | brahmasattvasthirīkṛtya manasā tattvam āpyate ||

From great joy and delight, or from what arises from intense curiosity — stabilizing the mind in the essence of Brahman, reality is attained.

Sixty-third dhāraṇā. First emotional technique. Prīti-pramoda — joy and delight. Mahataḥ — intense, great. Or vicikitsotthitasya — what arises from deep curiosity, from wonder, from perplexity. Two seemingly different emotions.

Intense joy and deep perplexity share something: both temporarily stop the conceptual mind. In extreme joy you do not think. In total wonder you do not think. There is a momentary void.

Brahmasattvasthirīkṛtya — stabilizing the mind in the essence of Brahman. Capture that moment of emotional void and stabilize it. Do not let the mind return to its habitual chatter. Maintain the wonder. Maintain pure joy. Tattvam āpyate — reality is attained.
