यो मामजमनादिं च वेत्ति लोकमहेश्वरम् | असम्मूढः स मर्त्येषु सर्वपापैः प्रमुच्यते
yo māmajham anādiṃ ca vetti loka-maheśvaram | asammūḍhaḥ sa martyeṣu sarva-pāpaiḥ pramucyate
One who knows Me as unborn, without beginning, and the Supreme Lord of all the worlds, is undeluded among mortals and is freed from all sins.
Ajam — unborn, without birth — and anādim — without beginning — describe the Lord’s eternal nature. Unlike the devas and ṛṣis, He has no origin.
Loka-maheśvaram — the great Lord of all worlds — the ultimate controller of all manifestations. Asammūḍhaḥ — undeluded — indicates clarity of vision.
Among martyeṣu — mortals, subject to death — this knowledge grants immunity from sarva-pāpaiḥ — all sins, karmic reactions.
