Intelligence, knowledge, freedom from delusion, forgiveness, truthfulness, control of the senses, control of the mind, happiness, distress, birth, death, fear and fearlessness.
The enumeration of vibhūtis (opulences) begins. These first seven pairs are mental and emotional states that the Lord controls and bestows.
Buddhiḥ — discrimination, capacity to discern; jñānam — knowledge as such. Asammohaḥ — absence of delusion; kṣamā — forgiveness, capacity to pardon.
Damaḥ — external control of senses; śamaḥ — internal control of mind. These qualities are the prasāda (mercy) of the Lord in His expansion as cognitive power.
