Vibhūti Yoga · Verse 36
द्यूतं छलयतामस्मि तेजस्तेजस्विनामहम् | जयोऽस्मि व्यवसायोऽस्मि सत्त्वं सत्त्ववतामहम्
dyūtaṃ chalayatām asmi tejas tejasvinām aham | jayo 'smi vyavasāyo 'smi sattvaṃ sattvavatām aham
I am the dice game among cheaters; I am the splendor among the resplendent; I am victory, effort, and the strength of the strong.
Chalayatām — of those who deceive — dyūtam — the dice game, representing chance in the material world. Tejasvinām — of the brilliant — tejaḥ — the splendor.
Jayaḥ — victory; vyavasāyaḥ — determination, effort; sattvam — strength, existence — sattvavatām — of the existently strong. The Lord is the power behind power.
