Daivāsura-Sampad-Vibhāga Yoga · Verse 5

दैवी सम्पद्विमोक्षाय निबन्धायासुरी मता | मा शुचः सम्पदं दैवीमभिजातोऽसि पाण्डव

daivī sampad vimokṣāya nibandhāyāsurī matā | mā śucaḥ sampadaṃ daivīm abhijāto 'si pāṇḍava

The divine wealth is considered for liberation, the demoniac for bondage. Do not grieve, for you are born for the divine wealth, O Pāṇḍava.

Contrast of fruits. The daivī-sampat leads to vimokṣāya — to liberation, the unbinding. The āsurī-sampat leads to nibandhāya — to binding, to captivity, to saṃsāra.

Consolation to Arjuna: mā śucaḥ — do not grieve, do not be sad. He is abhijātaḥ — born with, endowed with — sampadaṃ daivīm — the divine wealth. Pāṇḍava — descendant of Pāṇḍu, suggests nobility of lineage and temperament.
