Daivāsura-Sampad-Vibhāga Yoga · Verse 3
तेजः क्षमा धृतिः शौचमद्रोहो नातिमानिता | भवन्ति सम्पदं दैवीमभिजातस्य भारत
tejaḥ kṣamā dhṛtiḥ śaucam adroho nāti-mānitā | bhavanti sampadaṃ daivīm abhijātasya bhārata
Energy, patience, determination, purity, non-malevolence, absence of vanity — these are the divine riches of one who is born for the divine, O Bhārata.
Conclusion of the divine list. Tejas — energy, vigor, splendor. Kṣamā — patience, tolerance, capacity to endure. Dhṛtiḥ — determination, firmness, non-abandonment. Śauca — purity (internal and external). Adroha — absence of malevolence, non-desire-for-others’-harm. Na-ati-mānitā — non-excessive-self-importance, absence of pomposity.
This sampad (wealth, fortune) is daivī — divine. It belongs to abhijātasya — one who is born for, whose innate nature is toward the divine.
