Yo ceva brāhmaṇoti vuccati, so ceva brāhmaṇo hoti; So ceva brāhmaṇoti vuccati, so eva brāhmaṇo hoti.

Who is called Brahman, is Brahman; who is called Brahman, is truly Brahman.
The final verses of the Dhammapada are meditative repetition. The oral text was designed for recitation, not just reading.
What seems redundant is genre: mantra works through repetition, understanding works through saturation.
