Tṛtīyopadeśaḥ (Mudrā) · Verse 37
सम्यक्शिक्षाण्वितैः साध्यं प्रत्यहं क्रमशोऽभ्यसेत् | दक्षाणां हृदये वासो मनोन्मन्युदयः सदा
samyak-śikṣānvitaiḥ sādhyaṃ pratyahaṃ kramaśo 'bhyaset | dakṣāṇāṃ hṛdaye vāso manonmany udayaḥ sadā
It must be practiced daily and gradually by those who have correct instruction;The emergence of manonmanī always dwells in the hearts of the experts.
Samyak-śikṣānvitaiḥ — by those who have correct instruction.The text emphasizes the need for proper guidance;These techniques should not be attempted with bookish knowledge alone.
Pratyaham kramaśaḥ — daily and gradually.The progression must be constant but patient;Regularity matters more than forced intensity.
Dakṣāṇāṃ hṛdaye vāsaḥ — in the heart of the experts dwell.Manonmany udayaḥ — the emergence of manonmanī.Manonmanī is the state where mind transcends mind, a level of samādhi where ordinary mental activity ceases.For advanced practitioners, this state becomes accessible and stable, always dwelling in the heart.
