Chapter 9 · Verse 7
न ते संसारमोक्षौ न मे देहो न मे मनः
na te saṃsāra-mokṣau na me deho na me manaḥ
There is no saṃsāra or mokṣa, no body or mind, for you. All these are only a play of the mind. You are supreme Consciousness, ever free, ever one. In chapter 9 the topic is attraction and aversion, and both presuppose a “someone” who pulls things close or pushes them away. But if there is no saṃsāra and no mokṣa, there is no center that can be attracted or repelled. The magnet of opposites works only where there is polarity; supreme Consciousness has no poles.
