Viśvarūpa-Darśana Yoga · Verse 2

भवाप्ययौ हि भूतानां श्रुतौ मे त्वरसङ्गतोः | त्वत्तः कमलपत्राक्ष माहात्म्यमपि चाव्ययम्

bhavāpyayau hi bhūtānāṃ śrutau me tv-asaṅgatoḥ | tvattaḥ kamala-patrākṣa māhātmyam api cāvyayam

I have heard from You in detail, oh lotus-eyed one, about the origin and dissolution of beings, as well as Your imperishable glory.

Bhava-apyayau — the birth and dissolution — the cosmic cycle. A-saṅgataḥ — without omission, in detail — Kṛṣṇa has explained completely.

Kamala-patrākṣa — of eyes like lotus petals — one of the physical descriptions of the Lord. Māhātmyam avyayam — indestructible glory — not subject to dissolution like the world.

Arjuna confirms that he has understood the teachings of the previous chapters.
