Kṣetra-Kṣetrajña Yoga · Verse 6

महाभूतान्यहङ्कारो बुद्धिरव्यक्तमेव च | इन्द्रियाणि दशैकं च पञ्च चेन्द्रियगोचराः

mahā-bhūtāny ahaṅkāro buddhir avyaktam eva ca | indriyāṇi daśaikaṃ ca pañca cendriya-gocarāḥ

The great elements, the ego, the intelligence, the unmanifest also, the eleven senses and the five objects of the senses.

This verse lists the ontological constituents of the kṣetra. The mahābhūtas (great elements) are earth, water, fire, air and ether — the building blocks of matter.

Ahaṅkāra (ego) and buddhi (intellect) are faculties of the subtle body. Avyakta refers to prakṛti in its unmanifest state, the root cause of all manifestation.

The eleven indriyas comprise five sense organs, five action organs, and the manas (mind). The five sense-objects (viṣayas) complete the field of experience.
