एवं बुद्धेः परं बुद्ध्वा संस्तभ्यात्मानमात्मना | जहि शत्रुं महाबाहो कामरूपं दुरासदम्

evaṃ buddheḥ paraṃ buddhvā saṃstabhyātmānam ātmanā | jahi śatruṃ mahā-bāho kāma-rūpaṃ durāsadam

Thus, knowing that which is superior to the intellect, firmly established in the Self by the Self itself, destroy the enemy of the form of desire, oh mighty-armed one, difficult to conquer.

Conclusion of the chapter. Victory over kāma-rūpam — enemy of the form of desire — requires knowing that which is para — beyond — the buddhi.

Saṃstabhyā — firmly established — in ātmānam (the Self) by ātmanā (the Self itself) indicates self-establishment through self-knowledge. Desire is durasadam — difficult to conquer — but not invincible. The final key: transcend intellect and senses, anchor in the Self as the deepest reality.
