आसुरीं योनिमापन्ना मूढा जन्मनि जन्मनि | मामप्राप्यैव कौन्तेय ततो यान्त्यधमां गतिम्
āsurīṃ yonim āpannā mūḍhā janmani janmani | mām aprāpyaiva kaunteya tato yānty adhamāṃ gatim
Having fallen into demonic wombs, confused birth after birth, without obtaining Me, oh Kaunteya, then they go to the lowest destination.
The cycle of the asura: āpannāḥ — fallen, obtained into āsurīṃ yonim — demonic wombs. They remain mūḍhāḥ — confused, janmani janmani — birth after birth. Reincarnation is continuous degradation.
Without mām aprāpya — without obtaining Me (the Puruṣottama). Tataḥ yānti — from there they go to adhamāṃ gatim — the lowest destination. This is the progressive descent toward increasingly dense forms of existence, farther from the divine.
