Mokṣa-Sannyāsa Yoga · Verse 21
पृथक्त्वेन तु यज्ज्ञानं नानाभावान्पृथग्विधान् | वेत्ति सर्वेषु भूतेषु तज्ज्ञानं विद्धि राजसम्

But the knowledge by which, separately, one knows the diverse beings of separate classes in all beings — know that knowledge as rājasic.
Rājasic knowledge: pṛthaktvena — separately, seeing division. Sees nānā-bhūtān — diverse beings, multiple.
Sees differences: species, classes, individuals, without seeing the underlying unity. It is ordinary scientific knowledge, discriminative, analytical, but not synthetic, not transcendent.
