Sāṅkhya Yoga · Verse 61
"तानि सर्वाणि संयम्य युक्त आसीत मत्परः | वशे हि यस्येन्द्रियाणि तस्य प्रज्ञा प्रतिष्ठिता"
"tāni sarvāṇi saṃyamya yukta āsīta mat-paraḥ | vaśe hi yasyendriyāṇi tasya prajñā pratiṣṭhitā"
Controlling all those, seated in yoga, with Me as the supreme, for one whose senses are under control, his wisdom is established
The solution: saṃyamya (having controlled, disciplined) tāni sarvāṇi (all those). The pramāthin of 2.60 must be domesticated.
Yuktaḥ (united, in yoga) āsīta (should sit) mat-paraḥ (with Me as supreme, oriented to Me). Devotion (bhakti) is a means of concentration.
Vaśe (under control, in power) indriyāṇi (senses). When there is sensory control, prajñā pratiṣṭhitā (wisdom is established). Mastery of the body precedes mental stillness.
