जरामरणमोक्षाय मामाश्रित्य यतन्ति ये | ते ब्रह्म तद्विदुः कृत्स्नमध्यात्मं कर्म चाखिलम्

jarā-maraṇa-mokṣāya mām āśritya yatanti ye | te brahma tad viduḥ kṛtsnam adhyātmaṃ karma cākhilam

Those who take refuge in Me, striving for liberation from old age and death, know Brahman, the spiritual Self, and all action.

Motivation: jarā-maraṇa-mokṣāya — liberation of the jīva from the chains of jarā (decay) and maraṇa (death). The āśraya (refuge) is Kṛṣṇa.

Complete knowledge (kṛtsnam): brahman (impersonal Absolute), adhyātmam (inner Self, ātman), akhilaṃ karma (all action in its principle). The devotee of Kṛṣṇa knows all this.
