Worshippers of the gods go to the gods; worshippers of ancestors go to ancestors; worshippers of ghosts go to ghosts; and those who worship Me come to Me.

The natural law of correspondence: one reaches the object of their worship. Deva-vratāḥ — vowed to demigods — obtain temporary celestial lokas.

Pitṛ-vratāḥ — those who worship ancestors — go to pitṛ-loka, the world of the manes. Bhūtejyāḥ — those who worship natural elements or ghosts — obtain those forms of existence.

Mad-yājinaḥ — those who sacrifice to Me — come to the Lord. The preposition changes: for others it is yānti (go, move); for the Lord’s devotee it is a meeting, a return to the source.
