अन्तः प्रविश्य भूतानि यो जीवश्चैक आस्थितः स नियम्य त्रयीं मायां तस्मै तस्मै नमो नमः

antaḥ praviśya bhūtāni yo jīvaścaika āsthitaḥ sa niyamya trayīṃ māyāṃ tasmai tasmai namo namaḥ

Having entered within all beings, the one Jīva who resides in them, controlling the three māyās —to Him, to Him, reverence, reverence.

The jīva (individual being) is actually “one” —a single consciousness inhabiting multiple appearances. The “three māyās” may refer to the three guṇas, the three states of consciousness, or the three bodies (physical, subtle, causal). He “controls” them (niyamya) —is not controlled by them. In our yoga practice, this closes the cycle: we have explored the antaryāmin in elements, guṇas, states of consciousness, and now recognize that all is His māyā, His creative power. The double reverence —“to Him, to Him, namo namaḥ”— expresses the infinite gratitude of one who has awakened.
