Śivasaṃhitā 5.112
Pañcamaḥ paṭalaḥ — Dhyāna
Sanskrit text
ज्ञानञ्चाप्रतिमं तस्य त्रिकालविषयम्भवेत्।
Transliteration
jñānañcāpratimaṃ tasya trikālaviṣayambhavet|
Translation
Remaining in this place, when the Yogi meditates constantly, then to him all forms, worships and prayers appear as worthless.
Commentary
The fruit of unceasing heart meditation is described here as jñāna apratimaṃ — incomparable knowledge spanning the three times. This is not a reward in any external sense but the natural unfolding of a mind that has stilled itself completely. When consciousness rests in its own source, the boundaries that ordinarily separate past, present, and future become transparent.
