From the expansion of joy and delight of taste produced by eating and drinking, contemplate the state of fullness. From that arises great beatitude.
Sixty-eighth technique. Eating and drinking as meditation. Jagdhipānakṛtollāsa — the delight produced by eating and drinking. No special food. No elaborate ritual. The ordinary experience of tasting something with full attention.
Rasānandavijṛmbhaṇāt — the expansion of the joy of taste. When you eat something delicious with total attention, there is a moment of expansion. The flavor fills the mouth, consciousness expands with it. Bhairava says: stay there. Bharitāvasthām — the state of fullness.
This is not gluttony. It is radical presence in the most ordinary act. Every meal is an opportunity for practice. Every sip of water can be a door. Mahānandaḥ — great beatitude. It needs no temple, no mantra. It needs attention.
