जगत् Jagat concepto The world, that which moves ceaselessly. From the root gam (to go). Jagat designates the dynamic cosmos, the perpetual becoming, opposed to the immutable (purusha, Brahman). In the Śiva Saṃhitā, jagat is the field of manifestation of prakriti.
